Notorious Folk brings irresistible drive, groove, and joy to the dance floor. Featuring Eden MacAdam-Somer (fiddle/voice) and Larry Unger (banjo/guitar) as the core of the band, with Sam Bartlett (mandolin) and Mark Hellenberg (percussion), this powerhouse band blends soaring melodies, rock-solid rhythm, and deep roots in traditional music to create contra dance energy that’s both thrilling and beautifully grounded.

For over 45 years, the Klezmer Conservatory Band has been a driving force in Jewish music, electrifying audiences worldwide. From beloved Yiddish classics to fiery dance medleys and rare musical treasures, KCB brings Eastern European Jewish music to life with passion, virtuosity, and global appeal.

Over the past ten years, I've enjoyed pushing the boundaries of singing/playing/dancing more and more. I've written several pieces for myself tapping into the challenges and comfort of this exploration. I've also been incredibly lucky to have had several pieces written for me, including Breathe Them In by Fay Victor and The Sway by Gordon Beeferman.
